In fact, these units provide a variety of services, including consultations with general practitioners, gynecologists and dentists, in addition to offering vaccinations, injections, dressings, collections for exams, among others. 

They also provide certain medications for free.

However, a common setback is the unproductive trip when finding the necessary medication missing from the unit visited. To solve this problem, the city of São Paulo launched a platform called 'Here There's Medicine'.

In short, you can now check the availability of the medicine you are interested in on the platform before visiting the local UBS. 

This way, you will be able to know whether or not the health center in your neighborhood has the medicine you need.

How does this platform work?

The platform 'Here There's Medicine' offers access both via the internet browser and through an application available for download from Android and iOS stores, allowing you to search for the availability of a medicine at the nearest Basic Health Unit.

The application and website interface is simple and direct, providing the necessary information in a clear and objective way, making your daily life more practical and saving you time.

If you don't find the medication you want at the UBS in your neighborhood, the platform allows you to search at other nearby units. 

Just enter your address and zip code and the system will indicate the nearest UBS and show its location on the map. From there, you can search for the medicine.

Visiting the health unit in person is still the surest way to check the availability of a medication, however, this service was created to help when, for some reason, you cannot go to the UBS.

How to install this application on your cell phone?
